Paxton Agricultural is a leading designer and manufacturer of premium plastic livestock equipment. We use highly durable polyethylene, which is UV stabilized and frost-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use in any weather. Our range includes:

  • Drinking Troughs: Available in various sizes and shapes, including rectangular and round, to suit cattle, sheep, and horses. Some models have features like ballcocks for automatic filling and easy-clean surfaces.

  • Feed Troughs: We offer a variety of floor-standing and hanging feed troughs designed for durability and easy cleaning, ensuring your livestock get the nutrition they need.

  • Stable Drinkers: Ideal for individual animal use in stalls or pens, our stable drinkers are easy to install and maintain.

  • Footbaths & Sheep Dips: Our footbaths and sheep dips are essential for maintaining flock health and hygiene.

  • Water Tanks: We manufacture a range of above-ground and underground water storage tanks, including WRAS-approved models for potable water.
All of our standard black products are made from up to 100% recycled plastics (subject to availability), reflecting our commitment to sustainability. 🌱

Questions & Answers:

Q: What is the typical lead time for an order?

A: As most of our products are manufactured to order, the typical lead time is 2-3 weeks. During peak seasons, this lead time may be extended. If your order is time-critical, please contact us before placing it so we can provide you with an accurate stock check and delivery estimate.

Q: How is delivery handled?

A: Delivery is free to most mainland UK locations (excluding Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Islands). For these locations, please contact us for a delivery quote.

Most products are delivered kerbside, and it's the customer's responsibility to offload them from the vehicle. Some larger items, like certain water tanks, may be delivered by an articulated vehicle, so please ensure your access point is suitable. For easier offloading, some plastic tanks up to 2500 litres are delivered with a tail lift.

Q: Do I need to be present for delivery?

A: Yes, a signature is required for all deliveries. For larger tank orders, a member of our team will call you to book in a delivery date and time that works for you. Deliveries typically occur between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM.

Q: Are your products durable?

A: Absolutely. Our products are made from molded polyethylene (PE), a material known for its outstanding impact, fracture, and shatter resistance. They are UV stabilized to withstand the harsh effects of sun exposure and designed to be maintenance-free.
